In 2019, Devon Rempel (Canada) and Teoh Wee Ren (Malaysia) made their debut as a guitar duo. The two friends met while studying together with the world-renowned concert guitarist and music teacher Prof. Hubert Käppel in Koblenz; soon after, they started playing as a duo. After the success of their first performances, they decided to form the guitar duo Emmaus.Their repertoire includes works by J.S. Bach, the Beatles, Leo Brouwer, Fernando Sor and Paolo Bellinati.
